I have always been interested in playing the drums in one form or another at avery early age until I was given my first drum kit at the age of 7 and have never looked back since.I come from a musical background ,with my Father playing Cello, & Mother the Piano so Isuppose it was natural progression for me to follow in their footsteps albeit the drums. At the age of 14 I joined the 'Royal Marines Bandservice' as a percussionist. After my initial Military Training, I then embarked on 3yrs Musical training at the 'Royal Marines School of Music Deal' where I studied 'Percussion'

After my 3yr training period I gained a 'Drum Kit Distinction Diploma' at the ' London School of Music' whilst serving with the Royal Marines Band covering all genre's of Drum Kit playing after which I was given the title of 'Principle Percussionist Royal Marines' which I held until I left in 1979 to pursue my playing career professionally.

I have been fortunate enough since leaving the 'Royal Marines Band' to work as a muscian in a variety of different genres (mainly as a drummer) which includes Rock/Funk/Soul/Pop and much much more. I also have wide experience of playing in many Clubs / Venues / Events in and around the UK which include the 'Royal Albert Hall' (London) 'National Indoor Arena' (Birmingham) 'London School of Music' where I studied the art of drumming. I have also worked / performed the UK Theatre circuit with 'Roy Orbison Tribute Show' and in a support capacity (playing drums) to named 60's 70's band's that includes Mud / Show Waddy Waddy / Vanity Fayre / The Dreamers / The Fortunes / Union Gap / and many more.
